Features and Benefits
Standard rivet nuts have two open ends and a head with a narrow flange. The open ends allow for the use of long screws and bolts, while the narrow flange prevents pull-through.
Aluminum has a high strength-to-weight ratio and is wear resistant, nonmagnetic and conductive. It is easier to form and machine than steel and is naturally noncorrosive.
Countersunk head types sit flush with the workpiece material. The head tapers inward toward the rivet nut s shank to increase strength and prevent pull-through.
